The Dehradun–Haridwar corridor, traversing along National Highway-58 and NH-72 in the state of Uttarakhand, is one of the most strategically and economically vital road links in the Himalayan foothills region, connecting the state capital Dehradun with the religious and industrial city of Haridwar while also serving as a critical artery for traffic moving between the Doon Valley and the plains of Uttar Pradesh.
