This project entails the construction of an Energy Dissipating Arrangement (EDA) and appurtenant works at the downstream end of the Joshiyara Barrage spillway, forming a critical component of the Maneri Bhali Stage-II Hydro Electric Project located at Joshiyara in District Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand. Executed under the Dam Rehabilitation and Improvement Project (DRIP) Phase-II, the work is directed at enhancing the hydraulic safety and long-term operational resilience of one of Uttarakhand’s key hydropower assets on the Bhagirathi River.
