Being executed on EPC Mode under Package IV, this upgradation is aimed at transforming a challenging mountainous road corridor into a safe, reliable, and all-weather 2-lane highway with paved shoulders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project holds immense strategic and socio-economic significance as it connects remote and historically underserved communities in the Kishtwar district to major urban centers, improving access to healthcare, education, trade, and military logistics.
